All right. Next week: no conversation exam; instead, the RECITATIONS WILL HAPPEN FOR REAL. This counts for both the "denunciation speech" and "conversation exam" in your final exam.
You need to have BOTH of your selections ready to go. This means, usually, 1) your selection from the packet 2) the speech or poem you chose yourself.
Memorize it. Say it with feeling and expression.

Hello Professor Poole, This is Dan Sullivan writing to you to let you know why i was not in last nights class. Basically i am working out in springfeild ma, and getting back in town on time is next to impossible. I am trying to iron out a plan with my foreman so I can make the up and coming weeks classes. To boot, I would have not been able to give a speech to the required standard. I will continue to chip away @ them. Thankx for reading, Dan. S
